Regular dental examinations are very important for every member of your family! New dental patients receive a thorough examination by one of our dentists in order to check for the early signs of gum disease, eroded fillings, TMJ concerns, tooth decay, oral cancer screening, as well as problems with your occlusion (bite). We provide you with a comprehensive treatment plan, based on the dental services necessary to address your dental concerns.
Please bring your dental insurance information, including information on your plan details. We will do our best to help you understand your coverage information including your annual and lifetime maximums and whether your plan allows for the assignment of benefits.
Your dental health and safety are very important to us. We collect a detailed health history from you to determine if there are any risks for treatment. In addition, please bring along a list of medications you may be taking, including all prescription and non-prescription medications to your visit.
If you have x-rays’ from a previous dentist, we will obtain your consent so we can have them released to our office, in accordance with the Health Information Act of Alberta.
