After the teeth are prepared, we obtain an impression of the affected area which is sent to our off-site dental lab for processing. To protect your teeth in the time between appointments, we make a custom temporary bridge for you to wear.
The best candidate for a dental bridge is someone with one or more missing teeth and healthy gum and bone tissues in the area where the dental bridge will be placed. A dental bridge does require special attention to hygiene at home, including regular flossing underneath the bridge to remove food and plaque.
